MY TOP FIVE FAVOURITE NIGERIAN FOOD

Everyone has his/her own choice when it comes to food, that you like eating rice does not means that I should also be a fan of it.

Everybody has their own favourite food dpending on where you are in the country. Since there are diverse ethnic groups in Nigeria, so you should expect different varieties of food.



Without talking too much, let me list my top five favourite Nigerian food

1.POUNDED YAM: pounded yam is mostly popular in Nigeria. It can be done by mixing yam powder and hot water or pounding a cooked yams and it can be served with different delicious soup and stew

2.GARRI: Garri is another popular food among Nigerian dishes. Garri is mostly called student power (SP) because it serves as a fast food to Nigerian student to quench their hunger.

3.JOLLOF RICE: Jollof rice is popular in Nigeria and West Africa at large. It is made up of rice, tomatoes, onion and different types of spices and it can be served with chicken, vegetables or fish e.t.c


4.APAPA: Apapa is a food that is common among the Ebira ethnic group (kogi state central). It is made up of grind beans without peeling it body, it is similar to moi-moi and it is so delicious

5.AMALA: This is another food that is widely known in Nigeria, but it is common among the yoruba ethnic. Amala is made from cassava and it is best serve with delicious soup.
